FAQ

  • How do virtual visits work?
Virtual visits are performed over Google, Zoom or Doxy.me. A detailed description on how to connect will be provided prior to your appointment. Telehealth has been used in medicine for many years; research has shown that it is effective, safe and convenient.
  • How many visits will I need?
It depends on your goals. Each session provides education, resources, and empowerment. We will effectively and efficiently work towards your short-term and long-term goals. If you are looking for structure, accountability, and/or have multiple goals, you may require more visits. We will be here to provide as many visits as you need! If you are looking for one, or minimal sessions to develop a plan to independently implement, we are here to help you!
  • Can I use my insurance?
Exercise Programs, Yoga Sessions, and Wellness Visits are typically not covered by insurance. For Physical Therapy Services, we are not in-network with any insurance. This allows us to provide the highest level of care without restrictions typically imposed by insurance companies. Depending on your insurance, self-pay could be less than seeing an in-network provider. Most insurances will reimburse you at out-of-network rates (~40-60%). A detailed superbill will be provided for you to submit directly to your insurance company. We know that maneuvering through your benefits can be confusing; we’re here to help!
  • Can I use my HSA/FSA?
Yes! For Physical Therapy Services you can always use your HSA or FSA. For Exercise Programs, Yoga, and Wellness you will need a medical diagnosis from your doctor to use your HSA or FSA.
  • Do I need a doctor's prescription for physical therapy?
You do not need a doctor's prescription to receive Physical Therapy. Colorado is a Direct Access state, which means you can receive immediate treatment from a physical therapist without seeing a physician first. This allows you to save time and money. As Doctors of Physical Therapy, we are qualified to recognize when a patient exhibits symptoms outside of the scope and expertise of physical therapy. If deemed necessary, we are more than happy to refer you to a physician or additional health care provider.
  • Do you communicate with my doctor?
Yes! Our goal is to provide the best care possible to all clients, which may include discussion with your physician. Any information shared with your providers will require a written release per HIPAA guidelines.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that life happens! We strive to be understanding and as flexible as possible. That is why our cancellation/no-show policy results in no charge if appointments are cancelled with 24 hours or more notice. If a scheduled appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of the appointment time, a 50% visit charge will occur. "No Shows" for appointments will incur a full visit charge.
